Digital Marketing Specialist job At My own brands 2023

My Own Brands, a Canadian company, is seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Specialist/Social Media Marketing Specialist for day and night shifts. The role includes handling day-to-day social media tasks, digital marketing, and operations, including affiliate/influencer marketing channels, to build and maintain the company's social media presence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating all forms of digital content, including website copy, landing pages, SEO meta, blogs, email copy, newsletters, email series, social copy, organic social posts, social ad copy, and pay-per-click ad copy. They must also be able to create all types of Facebook ad campaigns and manage Facebook Business Manager and its components using their tools.

The candidate will be responsible for curating licensed or royalty-free imagery, audio, and videos that add value to specific text content, assisting each brand in being uniquely authentic and resonating with their respective audiences. They will also be responsible for reporting and analyzing content marketing activities, creating and managing all types of paid and free ad campaigns, monitoring ads on a micro-level, executing best bid strategies, preparing daily, weekly, and monthly plans related to ads campaign outcomes, and dealing with copyright issues.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Facebook ads, Google ads, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube policies, as well as experience dealing with ad account issues and policies. They will also have experience executing all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, e-commerce websites, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns, posting daily on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Tiktok, Youtube, and other media channels.

In addition, the candidate will be able to use Google's Keyword Tool and associated Google Ad Words implementation, develop and execute optimization strategies that increase the company's website search engine results rankings and optimize marketing funnels, and implement pixels and pixel events, set up custom audiences, LLA audiences, and apply the right creatives and targeting to extract ROI from those segments.

The successful candidate will understand all paid channel performance metrics, analyze data to assess the performance of a campaign, and problem-solve where necessary. They will also have a good understanding of Sales Psychology and Copywriting, create and execute growth strategies for Search, Social (SMM), Direct Email Marketing, and have knowledge of PPC (Google Ad, Facebook Ad, TikTok Ad, etc.).

Furthermore, they will continuously monitor competitor’s ad campaigns, products, and trending marketing products and have the ability to increase social media post engagements, page likes, and followers.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Rs 70,000 per month

Location: Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi

Location & Timing Office based job only in Gulistan-e-Johar
Day Shift Monday to Saturday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (Pakistan Time)
Night Shift Monday to Saturday 6:00 pm to 3:00 am (Pakistan Time)

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certification of Advanced Digital Media Marketing will be preferred.
  • Proven 3 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Manager, Digital Marketing Specialist, or a similar role in the Marketing Department.
  • Experience in an SEO position, championing best practice SEO
  • Experience of features related to Facebook ads Google ads, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube ads, and prepared to face new challenges related to advertising and must keep an eagle eye on the future updates of social media.
  • Demonstrate experience implementing SEO
  • Possess Knowledge and proven experience of SEO and Google Analytics
  • Generating Leads from Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn paid/unpaid marketing.
  • Knowledge of Facebook Pixels and how to use it.
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Hands-on experience of using Digital Marketing tool
  • Spoken and written proficiency in English.
